Melbpack supplies Australian Made standard grade steel strapping, made from Bluescope medium carbon steel.

The steel is thoroughly deburred for sharp edges and is of consistent quality. The steel is painted black and waxed for a smooth finish, allowing it to easily glide through tools.

The steel strapping is cold rolled. the strapping lays perfectly flat when unrolled, making getting it under pallets extremely easy.

You can use our ADL1 tensioner and ADL4 steel strapping crimper/sealer or the MUL20 sealless tool.

Can you supply alternative brands or coil sizes?
Yes we can, Melbpack does also import steel strapping, made from high quality South Korean POSCO steel, the POSCO steel strapping has been a staple item at Melbourne Packaging for over 40 years. We’ve only just recently switched to Bluescope steel as our main line of strapping in the last 5 years. Our common spec is below, but alternative sizes, such as jumbo coils or jumbo ribbon(25KG) are available on request.
