What strap are these buckles used for?
These buckles are for used with 19mm woven strapping.

Do the buckles have a smooth or rough surface?
The phosphate buckles have a sandblasted sort of surface to them, they’re designed to grip the woven strapping.

Do I need a tensioner?
Yes you will. The lugs on the buckle will need to be crushed down onto the strap. Our PXB3 OR PC100 are both designed to use with 19mm woven strapping and the phosphate buckles.
