As with using all machinery, everyone in your business should be made aware of basic safety precautions.

There is some minimal training involved in operating a pallet wrapping machine, but the most crucial factor is to be mindful of the safe work zones associated with the device. For those using the machine, safety precautions such as standing away from the turntable and not touching the column or the carriage while the machine is wrapping are relatively obvious.

Pallet wrapping machines are not complicated, and their functionality is quite intuitive. We can explain the basics to a team, but it’s relatively easy for users to pick up how to perform basic functions themselves. An operator can work out how to switch between wrapping modes, for example, once it is programmed.

Some considerations to take into account:

  • Only those with no physical or visual impairments should operate pallet wrapping machines.
  • Those working with the power of data or operating the forklift folding on pallet require necessary training. [please relook it didn’t make sense].

I’ve just bought a pallet wrapping machine. What’s next?

In most cases, you will be training onsite by our technician when we setup and install the machine. This goes for Sydney metro, Brisbane Metro and Adelaide metro too as we have technicians there.

Our technicians will help you set the machine up to your desired wrapping settings if we can make it in person we will conduct training by phone or video. It enables us to guarantee that the machines are set up correctly and work optimally for your specific needs. For example, we can adjust how much wrap is applied throughout the whole pallet and make adjustments to the turntable speed. Once we have programmed the machine, you shouldn’t need to touch the settings again.

In terms of educating the operational team, it’s just a matter of basic operations that we need to go through in our handover. We will discuss particular requirements you have, such as specific wrapping techniques or changes to the height settings that need to be made, and if needed onsite training on these specifically can be made.

After-sales support

We are available for ongoing assistance, support, or advice on machine adjustments should our clients have any queries or need further help. If your wrapping requirements change, we will also supply representatives to assist with operations such as changing OEM settings.
