What sort of strap can I use with this tool?
The ADL1 tensioner can be used with 12-19mm strapping ranging from .40mm to .60mm in gauge, the strapping must be waxed coated. (All MPS black and green strap is waxed coated)

What sort of products can I strap with this tool?
 The ADL1(YBICO S290) is designed to be used on flat surfaces, it requires approximately a 1-foot flat surface to mount the tensioner. It can be used for general purpose strapping of timber, warehouse palletised goods, or shipping crates.

Do you offer repairs to this tensioner?

Do you have a steel strapping tensioner for larger strap?
Yes we offer steel strapping tensioners for upto 32mm wide strap in taiwanse and USA made.

Do you sell battery powered steel tensioner?
yes we do buy they’re typically only used in the sheet metal or steel industry. for regular users a manual tensioner like our MUL20 is actually much faster.

What is the warranty on this tool?
All ybico tools have a 3 month manufacturers warranty.

I’m not sure this is the strap tensioner that will suit my strap, can you help?
I’m sure we can we have been a strapping supplier for over 40 years and some of our staff have almost been here for that long, give us a call and we can help determine if this tensioner is suitable for your strap.

Do I need anything else with this tool to strap products?
Yes, you will, the ADL1 only tensions strap, to secure the goods you will need a seal and a crimper(sealer) along with the steel strapping. We typically recommend the use of SO seals (snap on seals) with this tensioner.
