Polyester Strapping (PET) is lightweight, strong and quick and easy to apply, when compared to other OH&S strapping alternatives requiring buckles. The smooth edges of PET are an added safety feature.

PET strapping can be applied manually with a tensioner and sealer or automatically with pneumatic or Battery powered friction weld tools.

Our new lines of Premium embossed machine PET are precision made in Germany with double screw technology, making it split free.  The strap end is secured tightly at the end of the roll without tape, to avoid pulling tape into the machine.
Machine PET is also suitable for manual hand tools and battery powered friction weld tools.

What type of tools can I use with this strapping?
You will need a strapping machine or a battery powered PET tool capable of taking 12mm strap such as our XST-250.

What is the application of this 12mm PET?
Given the 12mm’s PET relatively low breaking strain compared to other PET’s its used mostly in the corrugated industry for palletising goods or bunding cartons, it can be also used to transport empty bottles or other light goods.

What is this strap made from?
This Polyester (PET) strapping is made from recycled bottle PET flakes and then other additives to give it more strength and split resistance.

Where is this strap made?
Our machine PET is made in Germany, where it’s made with latest production and packaging techniques. Our is also wrapped in a unique foil wrapping to give the rolls better production and made adding them to the dispenser much easier.

Why is it called machine PET?
It’s designed to run in fully auto machines with an arch, but many of our users use it with hand or battery powered hand tools as it’s a highly consistent and strong PET.

Is this PET embossed?
Yes, all our machine PET in our machine range is embossed.

Is smooth or embossed PET stronger?
it depends on who makes it and the additives they add to the different lines. However, if they’re using the exact same formula on each line the smooth should be approx. 5% stronger as simply, the embossed uses ~5% less PET.

Do you sell the auto machines for this PET?
