The ‘blade cut resistance’ test is an exception, as it measures from 1 to 5.
An ISO Cut rating of A to F and an Impact test (If Applicable) of either P (Pass) F(Fail) or X(Not Tested)Frequently, an ‘X’ will replace one or more of the numbers.

What does the gloves gauge mean?
The gauge on gloves refers to the stitching.

- A 10 Gauge gloves is a medium glove, not as thick as a 7 gauge, but they can be coated with various coatings such as nitrile, latex or PVC.
- 13-18 Gauge gloves, glove in these gauges have much finer stitching, the gloves are lighter weight and offer better flexibility. because of their high weave count they will often have the same level of cut resistance as a lower numbered gauge gloves.
