The YBICO ZR tensioner is a simple pusher tool used to tension steel strapping onto small, round or irregular shaped loads where the mounting of a regular flat pack tensioner is impossible.

The ZR tensioner is used with special ZR seals. The steel strapping is threaded through the ZR seal and ZR tensioner attached onto the rear of the seal. Once tensioning is complete, the steel is bent over the seal, cut with the tensioner and the lugs of the ZR seal need to be hammered down to secure the strap in place. You can use the ZR tensioner to do this.

Do I need anything else with this tool to strap products?
If you plan to strap goods with this tool, all you need will be a ZR seal and steel strapping, the steel strapping must be the same width as the seal. E.g. 16mm ZR seal with 16mm steel strap.
