LOW TACK CO-EXTRUDED POLYETHYLENE SURFACE PROTECTION FILM

Product Features:

• White/Black Film
• Acrylic emulsion adhesive
• Polyethylene film consisting of 40micron white/40 micron black
• Coated with solvent free pressure sensitive acrylic resin adhesive

Applications:

• Surface protection of stainless steel, painted steel and certain plastics
• Low tack adhesive suited to the protection of stainless steel finishes
• The white outer layer is designed to reflect light and the black under layer to prevent U.V penetration
• Care should be taken when using on freshly anodised aluminium surfaces due to possibility of residue

Technical data:

Surface Preparation:  
The surface on which the tape is to be used must be clean, dry and free from grease and dust. Remember that pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with the maximum possible pressure in order to achieve maximum adhesion levels. The recommended application temperature is between 15 and 25 deg C.

Storage:
Tapes stored below the minimum application temperature will require warming up to that level before use. Up to 24 hours may be required for this to take place.
