This tool uses Bosch batteries or Bosch Clone batteries, you wont have an issue with supply of batteries.

Can I release the strapping or put it in reverse?
the tools is incapable of going in reverse, however the handle can be squeezed and the strap released at any time. Very few if any batteries tools are capable of going in reverse.

Is there a cordless option for this battery too?
This tool is battery powered, there is no cords connected to the tool during operation or charging, the battery is separate.

What strapping can i use on this?
This tool is designed for polypropylene(PP) and polyethylene terephthalate  (PET) strapping.
