FAQ

What sort of strap can I use with this tool?
The AS300 is designed for use with steel strapping and can take 19mm to 32mm steel strapping ranging from .50mm to 0.8mm thick.

How does this tensioner tension round packs?
The AS300 is a pusher tensioner, it doesn’t work like a regular feed wheel tensioner. With the AS300 by looping the strap around through a closed pusher seal and attaching the tensioner to the rear of the seal you can tension around quite small, round or curved loads. These tensioners are used often to strap coils, engineering bar, pipe or tube.

Do I need a sealer with this tensioner?
Yes you will, you will either need a PNSC sealer, 3436P sealer or a 5436P sealer depending on the type of strapping & seal you’re using.
