Melbpack can supply machines in various warring heights, sometimes an extended mast is required to wrap higher pallets to achieve maximum space in containers of trucks.

Why would I want a higher mast?
A higher mast would be required if you’re wrapping tall goods.

If my pallet is 2200mm will a 2200m wrapping height machine do?
We would recommend you go upto the next mast size. this is because the machine will do zero overwrap of the goods(overwrap is the height above the pallet, eg the 100mm of wrap the folds over onto the top of the pallet)

What is the lead time?
The lead time is approx 12 weeks for a custom machine with a longer mast, but give us a call as we may sometimes have higher masts periodically on order.

Why the long lead time?
The machines are custom built in Italy, and the 12 weeks lead time is a combination of a 3 week build time and 4 week shipment time, and an allowance for delays, we don’t wont want understand a lead time. 12 Weeks is a realistic time frame. But the Altanta Built machines are worth the wait.

What or of drive system is used for the mast / carriage?
The XF series uses a chain drive for carriage ascent, its a highly reliable and the chain is safly enclosed in the mast.
